Already done an antenatal course but want to know more about hypnobirthing? Perhaps you want to do it with your BFF or someone you met at pregnancy yoga? Then this course is for you!

This course is ideal for those who want an overview of hypnobirthing and how it can help in labour and childbirth. We will cover:

  • How to reduce fear and anxiety around giving birth

  • Hypnobirthing techniques

  • What really happens in labour

  • What options are available to you in labour

This course is for between two to four couples who want to sign up for a private group course together.

What will I learn?

My hypnobirthing course is a complete birth preparation course. Although the term hypnobirthing can be off-putting (including me!), it is actually based in science and the course will teach you about how and why it works. By the end of the course, you will:

  • learn about what really happens to your body during labour and childbirth

  • learn breathing and massage techniques that will help you and your birth partner during pregnancy and labour

  • have the tools to enable you and your birth partner to be on the same page about labour and know what to do when it happens

  • reduce anxiety and feel calm and confident about labour and childbirth

Before commencing the course, you’ll need to provide a few details about yourself via an online form for insurance purposes. The link will be sent 2 weeks before the course begins, along with further details, travel and parking information, request for dietary requirements etc. Bookings are non-refundable or transferable, except for in extreme circumstances, at the discretion of the course provider. This course is not a substitute for medical advice or care from your maternity team. Please ensure you discuss any concerns about your pregnancy with your midwife or consultant.
